New here?

Welcome to the INandAROUND Community Websites. A collection of websites cover the entire borough of North East Lincolnshire so that each ward has its own local community website with every village, parish, neighbourhood and community represented.

There are websites for North East Lincolnshire, Croft Baker, East Marsh, Freshney ward, Haverstoe, Heneage, Humberston, Immingham, New Waltham, Park ward, Scartho, Sidney Sussex, South ward, Waltham, West Marsh, Wolds and Yarborough.

Accompanying the local sites is our blog ( and a main site which explains more about the features of the sites.

What are the community websites?

The websites are produced for the benefit of the community and owned by and supported by the community. Everything about them is local and focused on the communities and neighbourhoods they serve.

Each website includes:

A directory – of community places, buildings and spaces, of community organisations, groups and services, and of local people who serve the community.
Information about the local area – maps, images and photos, videos, statistics and other information.
Up to date activities – news and events. These features also allow feeds and news from other sites to be included locally and events can have their own presence within the sites.
Information about local support – be this local services, funding foundations, parish councils, forums or neighbourhood groups etc.

Explore all the features available on the sites on our main website here.

How can I get involved?

The websites have been built by, and are maintained by VANEL, but they are supported and ‘owned’ by the community they serve.

If you want to help improve the sites – or as a local service or organisation would like to benefit from the sites more, then there are a range of ways to get involved.

Could you volunteer to add news, moderate comments, maintain or list events?
Could you buddy up with a group, a forum or someone else who needs to keep information up to date?
As a group or service you can make sure you profile and information is kept up to date.

Find out much more here about getting involved.
